SKYTIME is a worldwide celebration of the wonders of the sky by
and with everyone living within the embrace of the sky using every known
method of communication from word of mouth, hand drums, radio,
television, satellite, the web and the most complex constantly
developing super electronic highways of cyberspace.
SKYTIME welcomes the work of everyone including: writers, dancers, choreographers, video artists, mythologists, musicians, composers, song writers, singers, astronomers, meteorologists, astrophysicists, artists, painters, sculptors, photographers, filmmakers, scientists...anyone who wishes to make works about the sky. We encourage participation by children, the elderly, members of congregations and other public institutions as well as the general public to plan and present SKYTIME celebrations everywhere.
SKYTIME is a project of the Kinetic Awareness Center, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to development, education and research in the kinetic arts and sciences.
Visit the Skynews if you wish to keep up-to-date with anything Sky related. You are invited to share via this web page your dreams, and plans for your skyworks. Tell us who you are and your skywork plans. There will be Global workshops and conferences, films and videos, internships, artistic and scientific celebratory works in theaters, in parks, on the water, in deserts, on mountains all around the world. Visit Skyworks to view or purchase works by our Rainbow Makers - artists, musicians, authors, scientists, and others.
